Mission and Vision
In support of the Antelope Valley and Kaiser Permanente, Antelope Valley Partner’s for Health efforts’ pertaining to “Work Site Wellness” our mission is to assist and increase awareness of the health and wellness benefits of eating fresh locally grown seasonal products. We envision accomplishing our mission through the individualized eating programs “I.E.P.’s” and Off-the-menu options and recipes prepared:
with low fat.
with low sodium
low sugar beverages, <6g
No hydrogenated oils.
with yogurts without recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone, rBGH.
with yogurts without high fructose corn syrup, HFCS.
local organically grown herbs known to promote health and wellness.
with locally grown seasonal fruits, vegetables and raw honey.
on site sun teas.
on site fresh cooked turkey, chicken, ham, tri-tip, Tehachapi fresh caught fish.
Individualized Eating Programs, I.E.P.’s are created for each individual taking into account dietary preferences, needs and restrictions. These could be those needs imposed on an individual with diabetes, celiac disease, cancer, lactose intolerant, vegetarian, vegan or just desiring a healthy life-style meal.
Menu items are generally consistent with the latest guidelines accessible to us as recommended by leading health and nutritional authorities. |
